Terms and conditions
Last updated August 9, 2026.
These terms govern your use of CULP, operated by Emerick Chassé (CULP). Subscribing means accepting them.
What the service is
CULP is a Claude Code plugin and a command-line tool that reduce what a Claude Code session spends in context and output tokens. It is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or supported by Anthropic, and Claude is a trademark of Anthropic.
CULP does not change the model you selected and does not raise any limit set by Anthropic. Any figure we publish about savings is measured on real sessions and is not a guarantee about yours.
Your account
One person, one account. You are responsible for keeping your password and your authenticator secure, and for the activity of any device you authorize. Up to three devices may hold an active authorization at once, and each authorization lasts 180 days. You can revoke any of them from your dashboard at any time.
Price
The subscription is $9.99 USD per month, billed monthly through Stripe. This is the price for starters: the people who subscribe before the product has proven itself commercially.
Prices are subject to change, and the published price is expected to rise to $19.99 USD per month. A change to the published price does not change yours. If you subscribed at $9.99 and your subscription stays active without interruption, you keep $9.99 for as long as it does. Cancel and resubscribe later and you pay the price published on that day.
Prices are in United States dollars and exclude any taxes your jurisdiction imposes.
Refunds
Your first payment is refundable in full for 30 days, for any reason or none. You do not have to explain yourself.
Every renewal payment after that is refundable for 14 days on the same terms.
Request a refund from your dashboard or by writing to billing@claudeusagelimits.com. Refunds are returned to the card that paid, and refunding a period ends access to it.
There is no free trial. The refund window is deliberately what stands in for one.
Cancellation
Cancel at any time from the billing portal linked on your dashboard. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not end the period you have already paid for, and you keep access until that period ends. No cancellation fee exists.
Acceptable use
- Do not share an account between people, or resell access to one.
- Do not use the service to break the law, or to breach the terms of any service it talks to on your behalf.
- Do not attempt to circumvent the subscription check, and do not automate the decoder beyond ordinary interactive use.
We may suspend an account that does one of these. Where a suspension is our decision rather than a payment failure, the unused portion of the period is refunded.
Your code
You keep every right to your own code. Content sent to the decoder is processed to produce source and is not retained, not used to train anything, and not shared. See the privacy policy.
Availability
CULP is provided as is. We do not promise a service level, and features that depend on our servers can be unavailable. When they are, ordinary editing is unaffected by design: a write that cannot be decoded is refused rather than guessed at, and content that is not compact never leaves your machine.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profits, lost data, or indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change in a way that affects what you pay or what you may do, subscribers are told by email at least 30 days before it takes effect, and may cancel before it does. Wording fixes are made in place.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Québec and the laws of Canada that apply in it. The courts of the judicial district of Trois-Rivières have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any right you have as a consumer to bring a claim where you live.
